Supported platforms

VidLoop supports publishing to three major short-form video platforms:

  • YouTube Shorts — via the YouTube Data API
  • TikTok — via the TikTok Content Posting API
  • Instagram Reels — via the Instagram Graph API

Connect YouTube

1

Go to Settings → Social

Navigate to your Settings page and select the Social tab.
2

Click "Add YouTube Account"

This redirects you to Google's OAuth consent screen.
3

Authorize VidLoop

Grant VidLoop permission to upload videos to your YouTube channel. You'll be redirected back to VidLoop once authorized.

YouTube Shorts

VidLoop automatically adds the #Shorts hashtag to your YouTube uploads to ensure they appear as Shorts.

Connect TikTok

1

Reconnecting expired accounts

Social media tokens expire periodically. VidLoop shows the status of each account:

  • Connected — active and ready to publish
  • Expiring Soon — token will expire within a few days
  • Expired — needs reconnection

Click Reconnect on any expired account to re-authorize through the OAuth flow.
